our STORY

Feeling Through is an award winning short film about a late night encounter between a teen in need and a DeafBlind man, and the profound connection they make. It is the first to star a DeafBlind actor, and the first film to establish a fully accessible event around the screenings.

The Feeling Through Experience offers 1 to 1 personalized accessibility to accommodate every moviegoer at no cost. Accessibility includes open captions, ASL interpreters, tactile interpreters, audio description equipment, and logistical considerations like reserved seating and transportation. We’ve done 14 such screenings all across the US and Hawaii, connecting people, building bridges, and creating community.

When Coronavirus swept the globe, to stay connected with our community, we transitioned to accessible live streamed events and started Feeling Through Live, a weekly talk show with members of the community.
